Day 01

Travel to the Cultural Triangle. Climb the 1,200 steps to the summit of Sigiriya through the Mirror Wall and past the famous frescoes. In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional village lunch and a scenic trek through the Habarana countryside.

Ancient Kingdoms of Polonnaruwa

Discover the ruins of Sri Lanka's second ancient capital by bicycle.

Explore the archaeological park of Polonnaruwa. Marvel at the Gal Vihara rock temples and the ancient Royal Palace. Later, embark on an evening safari at Minneriya National Park to witness 'The Gathering' of wild elephants.

Day 04

Spiritual Echoes in Dambulla

Enter the sacred Cave Temples, home to hundreds of Buddha statues and murals.

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple complex, a living monument to centuries of Buddhist devotion. En route to Kandy, stop at a Spice Garden in Matale to learn about the island's famous herbal heritage and oils.

Day 05

Kandy: The Highland Soul

Worship at the Temple of the Tooth and witness vibrant cultural dances.

Spend the day in the hill capital. Visit the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple during the ritual evening puja. Explore the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya and stroll around the scenic Kandy Lake.

Day 06

Emerald Hills & Tea Rituals

Take the world-famous train ride and learn the art of Ceylon Tea.

Board the scenic train from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Traverse through rolling tea estates and waterfalls. Visit a working tea factory to see the traditional manufacture process followed by a private tea tasting.

Day 07

Galle: Colonial Coastal Charm

Walk the ramparts of the 17th-century Dutch Fort in Galle.

Head South to the UNESCO World Heritage Galle Fort. Explore the narrow cobblestone streets, artisan shops, and colonial architecture. Enjoy an evening walk along the ramparts as the sun dips into the Indian Ocean.

Departure & Beach Bliss

Relax by the coast before your journey home.
